[TERMS OF SERVICE]

laboratory.love is a registered DBA of Very Little Gravitas Indeed, LLC ("VLGI"). All references to “laboratory.love” are references to VLGI.

[WHAT WE DO]

laboratory.love offers independent product testing in two ways:

• Direct-to-consumer testing packages: you purchase testing for specific products; we acquire samples, run ISO 17025-accredited lab analysis, and deliver a report.
• Crowdfunded testing: multiple contributors pool funds toward testing a shared product. Funded products move into our queue; unfunded contributions are refunded after 365 days or rolled into the shared pool at your option.

[THE DEAL — DIRECT-TO-CONSUMER TESTING]

• By placing an order you agree to these Terms of Service between you and Very Little Gravitas Indeed, LLC d/b/a laboratory.love
• You represent that you are 18+ and are purchasing for lawful research or consumer-information purposes
• Your payment funds sample acquisition, lab analysis, and reporting — it is not a purchase of the product itself
• We'll make reasonable efforts to source every product you request through standard retail channels; if we cannot source a product, that portion of your order is fully refunded
• Reports are typically delivered in 6–8 weeks from order confirmation; we cannot guarantee timing and will communicate delays
• Unless you opt out in writing before testing begins, results may be published on laboratory.love. Personal identifying information is never published
• Once lab analysis has begun on your order, the associated fees are non-refundable

[THE DEAL — CROWDFUNDED TESTING]

• By contributing you represent that you are 18+
• Your contribution funds product testing, not product purchases
• We'll make reasonable efforts to complete testing once a product is funded, but cannot guarantee timing
• Test results will be published publicly
• Contributions are non-refundable once testing begins; automatic refunds apply after 365 days for products that do not reach their funding goal

[TESTING RESULTS]

• We use ISO 17025-accredited labs and standardized protocols
• Results represent point-in-time measurements of specific lots and are provided "as-is" without warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Results are not medical, legal, or regulatory advice; we are not liable for decisions made based on them
• We don't guarantee specific findings, detection outcomes, or comparisons to other products

[INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY]

• Except where otherwise noted, Laboratory.love-authored result summaries and the original selection, organization, and compilation of Laboratory.love-commissioned results are © Very Little Gravitas Indeed, LLC and licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0).
• When sharing or adapting that licensed material, credit "Laboratory.love", link to the relevant Laboratory.love result or dataset page, link to the CC BY 4.0 license, and indicate whether changes were made.
• Factual measurements may not themselves be protected by copyright. This license applies to the extent copyright or database rights exist and does not restrict uses the law otherwise permits.
• PlasticList-derived records are not Laboratory.love-commissioned results and are excluded from the Laboratory.love license grant. They retain their stated source, PlasticList attribution, and applicable license.
• Names, logos, and trademarks are not licensed under CC BY 4.0.
• You retain rights to your content (comments, feedback)
• We can use your feedback to improve the platform

[IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS]

• VLGI (d/b/a laboratory.love) is not responsible for laboratory errors or testing delays
• Any dispute arising from these Terms will be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which VLGI is organized, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer-protection statutes
• Maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid for the order or contribution at issue
• We may update these terms with notice
