Applies to all Laboratory Love gift cards issued during the Black Friday promotion and any future campaigns unless superseded.
1. Value and pricing
Gift cards can be purchased in denominations of $25 or more.
During Black Friday, purchasers pay 5% less than the face value. Example: pay $95 to give $100 of lab funding power.
The full face value is available to the recipient when redeemed. The discount applies only to the initial purchase.
2. Redemption
Each gift card includes a unique URL + claim code. Share that link with the intended recipient.
Gift cards are single-use per item. Once a recipient applies the credit to a product, any remaining balance is committed to that product's funding goal.
Gift cards can be applied to an existing product on laboratory.love or a brand new submission.
3. Expiration & roll-over
Gift cards never expire for redemption. However, once a card is applied to a specific product, the product must reach full funding within 365 days.
If that product remains unfunded after 365 days, the remaining balance automatically joins the shared research pool to keep lab work moving.
We will email both purchaser and recipient before any roll-over happens.
4. Refunds & transfers
All gift card sales are final. No refunds or cash redemptions.
Gift cards are transferable via the original unique link. We do not re-issue links if they are shared with unintended recipients.
Misplaced codes can be re-sent to the purchaser of record after identity verification.
5. Stickers & incentives
Purchasing a gift card during Black Friday earns the limited edition sticker.
Gift recipients also receive the sticker when they redeem their link.
Sticker fulfillment happens the Monday following the campaign via a shared form.
